The classic match of the 25th round of the Portuguese League ended in a 2-2 draw at the Luz Stadium, with FC Porto seeing a two-goal advantage erased in the second half.

The Dragons opened the scoring in the 10th minute, with Victor Froholdt scoring his fifth goal of the season, becoming the fastest Porto player to score at the Luz since 2012/13. Porto’s lead increased in the 39th minute with Oskar Pietuszewski, just 17 years old, deflecting Otamendi and beating Trubin. At half-time, FC Porto led 2-0, a fair advantage for the first 45 minutes.

In the second half, Benfica reacted. Andreas Schjelderup reduced the deficit in the 69th minute after a shot against the post by Dodi Lukebakio, and Leandro Barreiro sealed the draw in the 88th minute, leaving the Luz Stadium in suspense until the end.

The result leaves FC Porto in the lead of the first league, with 66 points, followed by Sporting with 62 and Benfica with 59, who remain undefeated in the competition.
