Paris Saint-Germain won their second consecutive UEFA Champions League title, defeating Arsenal 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation and extra time. The final was played at the Puskás Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

The decision came after misses by English players Eberechi Eze and Brazilian Gabriel Magalhães, who both shot wide. For PSG, only Nuno Mendes missed his penalty.

The title crowns a historic season for the French club. In addition to winning the Champions League for the second consecutive time, PSG finished the year as runners-up in the Club World Cup, champions of the Intercontinental Cup (winning against Flamengo in the final), and five-time French champions.

In their third Champions League final, PSG once again lifted the most prestigious trophy in European football. The club had been defeated by Bayern Munich in the 2019/20 season.
