Dani Carvajal will play his last game for Real Madrid this weekend.
Real Madrid has officially confirmed the departure of captain Dani Carvajal at the end of the current season. The full-back, who represented the first team for 13 seasons, will not renew his contract, ending a long association with Los Blancos.
The club announced that a tribute will be paid to the player this Saturday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium during the game against Athletic Bilbao, for the final matchday of La Liga.
Over 23 seasons defending the Real Madrid emblem, ten in the youth ranks and 13 in the first team, Carvajal accumulated 450 games and 14 goals. His extensive resume includes 6 European Champions Leagues, 6 Club World Cups, 5 European Super Cups, 4 La Liga titles, 2 Copa del Rey titles and 4 Spanish Super Cups. On an individual level, he was distinguished with inclusion in the FIFPro World XI 2024, in the FIFA The Best Men’s XI 2024, and was elected the Best Player of the 2024 Champions League final, in which he scored a goal.
For the Spanish national team, the full-back has 51 international caps, winning Euro 2024 and the Nations League in 2023.
