In his first eight minutes on the court, the Frenchman managed to score 25 points, putting his team in a significant lead for the rest of the game.
The Lakers never showed competitiveness throughout the game and, with Wembanyama doing what he wanted, they finished the first half with an impressive 84-55, and the French center already had 37 points.
