The national team coach, Chiquinho Conde, announced the official list of players called up for the FIFA international friendly matches against Oman and Indonesia, scheduled for June 7th and 9th, respectively.
These matches will serve as preparation for the Mozambican national team’s upcoming international commitments, at a time when the Mambas are looking to consolidate the team and strengthen their international competitiveness.
The first challenge will be against Oman on June 7th, while the second game is scheduled for June 9th against Indonesia.
The squad includes players who play in the national league and abroad, with notable experienced names such as Luís Miquissone, currently playing for Al-Ahly SC, and Edmilson Dove, of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
Among the goalkeepers called up are Ernan Siluane, of Associação Black Bulls, Ivane Urrubal, of Associação Desportiva de Pemba, and Kimiss Zavala, of CS Marítimo.
In defense, Chiquinho Conde has selected players such as Valter Nhacussa and Bhéu Januário, both from Ferroviário da Beira, as well as Feliciano Jone, from Abu Salim.
The midfield features players like Manuel Kambala, from Polokwane City FC, and Keyns Abdala, from Leça FC.
In attack, the highlights are Chamito Alfândega, from Varzim SC, and Ângelo Cantolo, from Associação Black Bulls.
The complete squad consists of 26 players distributed among goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards, in a combination of youth and experience.
The national team is expected to begin its training camp in the coming days, aiming to improve competitive levels and test tactical solutions before future official matches.
