Inter Milan won the Italian Cup by defeating Lazio 2-0 in the final played this Wednesday at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, thus achieving the third double crown in its history (Italian Championship-Coppa).
The team managed by coach Cristian Chivu had an almost impeccable performance domestically this season, winning its 21st Italian Championship title and its tenth Italian Cup, the third in five years, thus becoming the second most successful club in the history of the competition, behind only Juventus (15).
